The faverolle originates from Northern France. It came to Britain in 1886 where it has since been developed. It has three distinguishing characteristics;
It has 5 toes
It has a striking beard
It has feathered legs
Faverolles lay approx. 160 tinted/cream eggs a year and are extremely docile and friendly birds.
