Chestnut Ranger

This is not a commercial hybrid but a Maran based cross. It has been fully vaccinated so can be mixed with other hybrids. It will lay about 250 vary dark brown eggs a year for up to 5 years. It will take slightly longer to come into lay than commercial hybrids at about 26 weeks. This is a large hen and will not be suited to small houses and runs such as the omlet go.
